This survey aims to investigate the relationship between knowledge leadership Absorptive Capacity General Offices of Sports and Youth in West of Iran. The present survey is descriptive and is also done according to correlation and field method. In order to collect data of this survey two standard questionnaires of knowledge leadership were used based on Viitalamodel (2004) model and Absorptive Capacity was done according to Minerva et al (2003) model. The study population consisted of all male and female employees of all agencies in sports and youth west, using non-random sampling as a purposive sample of 274 individuals was selected for the study. In order to analyze the amount of reliability, Chronbach alpha was used and knowledge leadership questionnaire was a=0.93 and Absorptive Capacity was a=0.83 After collecting the data, they were analyzed according to survey hypothesizes using One Sample t Test, Pearson correlation as well as multiple Regressions so that the results indicate that: 1- knowledge leadership status with the value (P=0.001, t= 5.66) above-average and absorptive capacity with the value (P=0.001, t= -0.33) Lower than the average level was 2- There is a significant and positive relation between knowledge leadership and its features with absorptive capacity. 3- Support the learning process individual and group can predict absorptive capacity dimensions {Employees motivation (β= 0.45) Employees ability (β= 0.68)} in a positive and significant way. So it can be concluded that the knowledge leadership of employees can play an effective role in facilitating their absorptive capacity.
