The present study aimed at examining the relationship between knowledge of information and communications technology and self-concept and the opinions of physical education postgraduate students of Tehran Islamic Azad Universities about their job prospects. The study enjoyed correlational research method and the study population consisted of 512 students while the sample size was determined based on Morgan Table as 255 participants. The stratified random sampling method was used for sample selection. The instruments used were a 21-item questionnaire to measure the students, knowledge of information and communications technology, a 23-item questionnaire to measure the students, educational self- concept, a 23-item questionnaire to measure the students, opinions about their job prospects and planning for their future, and a 9-item questionnaire to measure the students, demographical characteristics. The opinions of the professionals of the Department of Physical Education Management and Sport Sciences have been employed to determine the questionnaire’s validity and reliability. The obtained reliabilities of information and communications technology questionnaire, job prospect questionnaire, and educational self-concept questionnaire were %93, %70, and %73 respectively. The central and distribution indices were applied in order to describe the mean and standard deviation in the form of tables and diagrams and the Colmogrov-Smirnov test, Pearson correlation coefficient, linear regression, independent t- test, Single-sample t test, and ANOVA at 0.05 meaningful level were used for inferential data analysis. The results of the study showed a favorable amount of self-concept (p0.05), but there was a positive and meaningful relationship between educational self-concept and job prospect (r=0.143, p0.05).
