The purpose of this study was study of Relationship the countries performance at multi-sport events with their performance at Olympic Game. The population of all the countries in the Olympic Games medals have been won that their number is equal 1166 (excluding repeat). Based on population and sample table of Morgan, samples were selected equal 321. Information was collected from multiple sites such as Continental Councils of Olympic and international Olympic committee. Also, for analyzing used descriptive and inferential statistics (Kolmogorov-Smirnov test and Spearman correlation coefficient) by SPSS software and significant level p≤0/05. The results showed that there is positive and significantly relationship between the number of Medals of gold, silver, bronze and total medals won by world countries at former Olympic Games with the number of Medals of gold, silver, bronze and total medals won at next Olympic Games. Also, the results showed that there is positive and significantly relationship between the number of medals of gold, silver, bronze and total medals won at Asian and Pan-American Games with the number of medals of gold, silver, bronze and total medals won at Olympic Games. The purpose of the present study was to evaluate and analyze performance of Iranian athletes in the Asian games compared with those of other competitors. The research method employed was a descriptive-analytic one in an attempt to compare Iranian athletes’ performance with those of the other nine Asian counties attending the Asian games (from 1951 to 2010) in thirteen competition periods held. The required data for this study were obtained through reliable sources associated with the Asian Games. The most significant finding of the study was Iranian’s turbulence and lack of stability in performance compared to the performance of other countries. Presenting a sinusoidal shape (with long-descending and long-ascending mutations) Iranians’ graph of performance lacks stability. Also, there is a significant difference between the total won medals and gold medals at Asian games before and after the Islamic revolution in Iran. Weighted average rating of Iran in Asian Games is 5.23, placing Iran as the fifth most powerful country in Asia after Japan (1.87), South Korea (2.73), China (3.14), and Kazakhstan (4.4). It is recommended that the authorities take measures to develop elite sport facilities, recognize and develop talented athletes and run sport management stability. This way the commissioned athletes to the Olympics will be the elite ones and most likely gain good results and eventually can help the balance and promotion of Iran’s performance at the Asian games.
