Abstract
The purpose of the current research is to the attitude of the professors of different trends in the field of physical education towards virtual education. In terms of practical purpose, the present research is exploratory (qualitative) in terms of the importance of the problem with the approach of data theory of Charms Foundation. The statistical population of the research includes professors of various sports disciplines. According to the use the of database method and conducting interviews to collect data, sampling was done in a targeted manner and the method of sample selection was in the targeted sampling technique of snowball/network type. The data collection tool of this research was an unstructured in-depth interview in the field of the attitude of the professors toward different trends in the field of physical education towards virtual education. The results obtained from the analysis of the interviews in the theoretical coding section showed that the views of the professors on different trends in the field of physical education towards virtual education include two parts of the disadvantages of online education, which include the problems of holding physical education lessons in virtual space, the lack of supervision and concentration. Concerns in virtual education, the lack of proper communication between professors and students, the coverage of virtual classes, economic issues, the weakness of software and hardware technology, and the merits of virtual education, which includes the benefits of information technology in virtual education and the superior characteristics of virtual education.
