Abstract
The purpose of this study was to identifying the empowerment factors of the employees of the Iran sports provincial delegations. The current research method was descriptive-survey and the type of research objective was applied. The statistical population of the research consisted of all the presidents of the Iran sports provincial delegations who had a master's degree or higher in the field of sports management, and according to the information obtained from the federations, the number of people was estimated to be 189, and using the sampling method of the total number of the population that 167 of them participated in the research.
The research tool was a researcher-made questionnaire that was sent to 15 sports management professors who had some kind of responsibility in sports federations to determine the validity of the content and form of the questionnaire, which was approved by them. Confirmatory factor analysis was also used for construct validity. The reliability of the questionnaire was also confirmed in a preliminary study on 30 community members and the calculation of Cronbach's alpha was (0.92). Criterion validity was used for the construct validity of the questionnaire. Finally, in order to analyze the collected data, Bartlett's test and KMO exploratory and confirmatory factor analysis were used with the help of SPSS version 23 software.
The findings showed that the effective factors on the empowerment of the employees of sports delegations in the provinces of Iran consist of 6 factors of job training, job enrichment, delegation of authority, individual motivations, collaborative management and job attitude, which is appropriate in the type of communicated programs and executives policies should be used by the general administrations and sports federations to empower the employees of the provincial boards.
