Abstract
The tourism industry is more than an industry, it is similar to a global and social dynamic phenomenon that has its own complexities. Therefore, the current research was conducted with the aim of compiling and explaining the pattern of sports-recreational tourism services in the Islamic Republic of Iran in two qualitative and quantitative parts. In the qualitative part, using the grounded theory research method, data collection was done through in-depth semi-structured interviews with 10 experts, whose number was determined by the theoretical saturation method. A number of 249 primary codes were extracted from the text of the interviews, after coding these concepts with Maxqda software, 71 subcategories were identified and by classifying these categories into similar categories, 13 main categories were identified. The statistical population of the quantitative part of the research, 384 tourists were selected and their demographic characteristics were presented. This statistical population was surveyed using a questionnaire to fit the research model. Data analysis with software (SPSS) to perform data pre-processing, including the calculation of performance descriptive statistics and for inferential statistics, structural equation model or PLS software will be used in this research. The results of partial least squares technique have fully confirmed the validity of the model.
