Exercise performance is a complex trait that is influenced by physical and psychological factors. The purpose of this study was to investigate the causal relationship between indicators of developing positive organizational behavior and improving the performance of the country's elite footballers. The present study was applied research in terms of purpose and quantitative in terms of data retrieval and descriptive-correlation analysis in terms of data collection. The statistical population of the study includes all footballers working in the Premier Football League and national teams in 1399 equal to 736 people. The sample size was determined using Morgan and Krejcie table of 256 people who were selected by simple random sampling. Data were collected through a 45-item researcher-made questionnaire of indicators affecting positive organizational behavior and a 22-item questionnaire to improve the performance of athletes on a 5-point Likert scale. Data analysis was performed using descriptive and inferential statistical methods with the help of SPSS software version 21 and LISREL version 8.8. The structural equation test showed that there is a causal relationship between the indicators of developing positive organizational behavior and improving the performance of the country's elite footballers. This finding can be considered by federation officials, clubs and coaches to improve the performance of footballers through the development of positive organizational behavior.
