Abstract

The purpose of this study is to investigate the causal indicators affecting lean management in sports in the country. This research was a combination of quantitative and qualitative. In the qualitative part, it was based on the model of Glaser, Strauss and Corbin. The data collection tool was semi-structured in the qualitative part of open interviews and a questionnaire in the quantitative part. The number of samples in a small part was estimated at 384 due to the large size of the population, which was government sports organizations, and taking into account the total population of Iran. In the qualitative part, the sampling method was based on theoretical saturation and in the elite group, the sample was performed as a snowball. The interviews were coded in three stages: open coding, axial coding, and selective coding, and finally, 22 coded codes were classified into four selective codes: high inflation, budget reduction, need for new staff, and high organization in sports. Hierarchical analysis showed that high inflation with a normalized score (0.553) is the most important factor, in the second place of budget reduction with a normalized score of 0.249 and in the third place a highly organized variable in sport with a normalized final score of 0.134 and in The fourth rank was the need for a new force with a normalized final score of 0.064. Given that there are many changes and it is not possible to make accurate predictions about the future, so the control of costs and fashions in the country's sports should be controlled as much as possible to witness its growth and development.
