Abstract

Volunteers are one of the most important elements in the success of college sports programs. The aim of this study was to identify the indicators of management of university sports volunteers with emphasis on organizational behavior variables. The research method was descriptive. The study population consisted of 13 faculty members of universities and experts working in sports organizations who were selected by purposive sampling. Semi-structured interviews were used to collect information and data were analyzed systematically. The percentage of agreement within the subject of the interviews was equal to 0.91. Findings showed that the strategies of the organization, maintenance, development and improvement, discovery and evaluation, recruitment and employment as the main indicators are effective in managing the behavior of volunteers in college sports.
